Part-Time Piano Teacher
Rustenburg Girls’ Junior School is seeking a passionate and skilled Part-Time Piano Teacher to join its vibrant Music Department from 08 April 2026.
The department is a distinctive and dynamic space that embraces innovation, creativity, and growth, and plays an important role in nurturing a love of music among young learners. This independent contracted position, dependent on learner numbers, is anticipated to be approximately 1.5 days per week, with potential for growth within the programme.
The successful applicant will be an exceptional individual who will:
● Hold a recognised music qualification or equivalent teaching experience.
● Inspire and nurture a love of music in young learners.
● Demonstrate excellence in piano teaching across a range of levels.
● Prepare students for performances, assessments, and examinations as required.
● Work collaboratively as part of a passionate and professional Music Department team.
● Have proven success in teaching piano to primary-aged learners.
● Demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills.
● Show commitment to the ethos and values of Rustenburg Girls’ Junior School.
