The St Francis of Assisi Music Society presents the Ubuntu Brass Quintet for a special mother's day celebration of Golden Oldies.
Ubuntu is a proudly South African chamber ensemble founded on the belief that music should be accessible, inclusive, and excellent. The ensemble is made up of working professional musicians who are active in Cape Town’s orchestras, ensembles, and music institutions.
Their programme will feature favourites from Somewhere beyond the sea and Wonderful World to New York New York and My Way
These afternoons are presented by the St Francis of Assisi Simon’s Town Music Society Series to bring a variety of quality music to a broader audience, whilst also raising much needed funds for repairs to the church.
The concerts are open to all and include a complimentary glass of wine or juice with snacks afterwards with the chance to talk to the musicians.
