In their upcoming concert, “The Space Between,” the Camerata reflects on moments of transition—between past and future, farewell and welcome, loss and renewal. Under the direction of Renette Bouwer (Conductor), Hano van der Walt (Assistant Conductor), Samkelo Mdakane (Assistant Director of African Music), and Bronwen Anderson (Master’s Student in Choral Conducting), the choir will present a moving programme that captures the poignancy and hope of change.
This concert is a tribute to the journey of Camerata: saying farewell to Dr Michael Barrett-Berg, embracing the artistry of Renette Bouwer, and preparing once again to step into a new chapter.
