Come and enjoy a beautiful classical music concert featuring a choir, musical instruments, soloists, and group singing. The choir is made up of members from all over Pretoria and is a one-time group formed specifically for this performance. The choir will sing, among other pieces, works by Vivaldi, Beethoven, and Mozart, accompanied by a musical ensemble. There will also be vocal solo performances as well as organ solos by Professor Theo van Wyk from the University of Pretoria.
Songs of Praise, a British concept, has been presented in South Africa since 1992 by well-known conductor, Richard Cock. And yet, after more than 30 years it is still something unique and wonderful - wide variety of musical material representing music old and new, featuring audience participation and beautifully sharing an incredibly important message.
