A piano has 88 notes, but even two pianos on one stage are not enough for the quick fingers of these two South African piano legends. Audience asked, and Rocco de Villiers and Coenie de Villiers listened.
In this debut show, the two Viljees join their formidable forces together - supported by guitar - and bring a repertoire that stretches from boere music to Bach, from blues to ballads. There are old hits with fresh interpretations, new compositions written especially for this production, and - wait for it! – brand new word art from the pens of both artists.
Their styles are diverse, but they share one great love: the piano. The result? A unique, new sound that enchants audiences.
