Amira’s love for the Afrikaans language is displayed in a selection of the most famous old Afrikaans folksongs made famous by Mimi Coertse: O Boerplaas, Die Berggans and Heimwee amoungst others. The programme will also include a selection of Lieder and famous arias from the world of opera and operetta.
Amira performs with pianist and Steinway Artist Charl du Plessis who is the musical director for this duo performance.
This will be the last and final performance of Mimi sing Mimi as well as the CD launch of this concert.
