Gold medallist of the Queen Elisabeth Competition in Belgium in 2022 and first prize winner of the Krzysztof Penderecki Cello Competition in Poland in 2018. Korean-German cellist Hayoung Choi will perform the work that won her the prestigious Queen Elisabeth Competition title. Bernhard Gueller, conductor laureate of the CPO, has a history with Bruckner and why he considers him so important a composer in this rich and romantic work.
